the boomerang house has been named for its shape. currently under construction in brentwood, tennessee, the house consists of two wings that stretch and strategically carve out spaces for natural light to enter and move with time. one wing contains the master suite, a guest room, and a small dance studio. the other wing contains an open living room, dining room, and kitchen. the wings are held together with a tall light-filled greenhouse that conjoins the master suite with the living area. stucco and copper will wrap the exterior, and the rear of the house will overlook a lap pool and pond from under a cor-ten steel pergola shaded with climbing plants
